Vladi Tosetto
The great interpreter of emotions.

In observing a composer at work
on a piece, one can see that his
actions give away (often indirectly)
the musician's deep stylistic roots.
This is undoubtedly true of Vladi
Tosetto, a composer who has made
international pop music his artistic
vocation. Sitting at his piano, he
composes notes for a song in English
without even paying attention to
what the sentences mean.

This is how he searches for that sound that will resonate
internationally, and this exactly what distinguishes the works
of Vladi Tosetto.A quick look at what he has produced offers
the best example. He started collaborating in 1989 with
BMG (at that time, it was still RCA). He composes Ricardo
Montaner's "Me va a extranar,"a single that sold more than
six million copies in South America alone.
On Valeria Linch's album "Hablame de amor," not only was he
the composer but he served as the producer as well. There
are some tracks from Italian artists that fully showcase
Vladi's style. Eros Ramazzotti, Giorgia and Laura Pausini
are definitely among the few artists to achieve international
fame. Undoubtedly, part of the credit goes to Vladi Tosetto
who is able to propose pieces that are not necessarily bound
to Italian lifestyle or to Italian music. Songs, such
as "Stella gemella" or "Come saprei," could be transformed
into potential international hits if the words were in English.
Vladi Tosetto's complete discography is really a pop anthology,
in that it includes artists of the caliber of Fausto Leali,
Ron, Gianni Morandi, Joe Cocker and Myriam Hernandez.
